It is better to plan head before you select cruise excursion do you like. It can separate into many category but in this topic we are going to pros and cons of join (bus) and private cruise excursion.

The factors to select private or join tour is consist of

1. Your budget  >> The join tour rate normally cheaper
2. Places of interest >> Join tour is ready made tour program it may not fit your need.
3. Your duration of stay >> If you have other destination to go such as go back to airport for connect the flight, private tour may better for your need.

1 Join tour operate by cruise ship. Price is range from 39 - 100 USD . The cheapest one is just taxi for transfer only. But if you land at Leam Chabang , the cruise excursion rate may start from 70 - 150 USD since the distance is 2 hours away from Bangkok.



It is depend on the type of activities you select , cruise line as well as distance.



Operate by Cruise line. It trend to be more expensive which range from 200 -500 USD / day / person for excursion activities. You will be around with private guide and driver. Some cruise line also provides very unique  excursion for example traveling by helicopter trip to Kanchanaburi to visit tiger temple.

Operate by local agency . You Can also book private tour by local agency which can give a very reasonable price. Trick to make private tour cheaper.  We have one client they ask about trip for 2 persons since they want private tour. But the price is more expensive than what they can pay. So we recommend them to make some friend and contact us during they on the cruise. They finally found 4 more people to join and turn out to get cheaper rate than join tour which sell from the cruise excursion , more fun than since it is smaller group and meet more new friends.
